This gazebo is fantastic. Everything is pre-drilled to perfection. The parts all were there/nothing missing. The small hardware (screws, nuts etc) were all there PLUS one or two extra small parts of each. I loved that!
The boxes and pieces were all very well marked which made finding and identifying the pieces needed for each assembly step very easy.
This gazebo comes in 4 VERY HEAVY boxes. I'm 6'4" 245 lbs, fairly athletic, and I could not lift 3 of the 4 boxes alone. That being said, I have never seen a product so well packed. Everything was wrapped in plastic. EVERYTHING. They made everything inside the boxes theft proof (without a tremendous effort). I filled 2 large recycle wastecans with the plastic, cardboard, aluminum braces and plywood that I disposed.
The instructions are very good, easy to understand.
It took me and my brother approximately 10 hours to assemble (there was at least an hour - during the entire assembly - of just unwrapping the pieces).
You WILL need at least one other person to help with the supporting of the horizontal crosspieces while they are attached to the vertical posts. Bring 2 helpers for more ease. Bring power screwdrivers/screwguns to save time and blisters. We did and it still took us that long.
I will recommend not tightening the screws all the way until all of the pieces for the section that you are assembling are attached. Like I said above, the pre-drilled machining is very good, with low tolerances, so because of that if you're building on even a slightly uneven ground you may end up having a hard time making the screw holes align properly. Once you have all the pieces in place THEN you will go back and tighten up all of the screws.
The ONLY slight complaint I have is that there is literally no instruction on the proper way to hang the curtains/screen. I highly recommend this gazebo. It looks just like the photos on the website.
